Marvin Batenhorst Library
With the addition to the Hartley School in 2015, the library was relocated to the current spacious location with plenty of room for books, computers and study tables.
Honoring Marvin Batenhorst’s love for reading and his service on the Board of Trustees, the library was named Marvin Batenhorst Library in 2016.
Books, and so much more
The Library hosts dual credit classes and provides a place for students to use computers for study time or to test on AR books.
The expanded selection of books is available to students and adults alike. Members of the community are welcome to sign out books, and there is an adult section available also.
During the summer months, when students are on vacation, reading can continue through the Summer Library Hours. The hours are announced annually just before school dismisses for the summer.
Fundraisers
Book Fairs allow you to purchase books for your child or grandchild, with proceeds benefiting the library to purchase books for the inventory. You will find dates of book fairs announced through the upcoming events calendar.
In the past, the library has been the grateful beneficiary of generous donations of books as well as memorials in honor of loved ones. All donations are used entirely for book purchases.
Librarian Becky Vincent takes care of all of the sign out and sign in needs and is happy to assist you with finding the perfect book for your interests.
